Paris Cameron, a 20-year-old Black transgender woman, was killed on May 25, 2019, in a shooting at a home on Detroit's east side. The incident, which occurred around 5 a.m., also resulted in the deaths of two gay men, 21-year-old Alunte Davis and 20-year-old Timothy Blancher. Two other individuals were shot during the attack but survived.
