On February 26, 2018, 21-year-old female Kristin Marie Thomas was killed in a violent shooting at a Sunoco gas station on Detroit’s west side. Kristin Marie Thomas, a young woman of just 21, was in the passenger seat of a car that was dropping her off at work at McDonald’s when the suspect approached and opened fire. She was one of three people fatally shot at the gas station, and her death marked the beginning of a deadly rampage that shocked the city of Detroit.
