On January 5, 2009, 34-year-old Cornelius Rogaria Mosley was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred at the intersection of 1st Avenue South and Goldwire Street, where Mosley and his brother were attacked while stopped at a stop sign. Gunfire erupted from a nearby porch, resulting in Mosley's death and injuring his brother.
