Kenneth Holmes, a 21-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot on October 26, 2007, in what appeared to be a targeted killing. Holmes was found with gunshot wounds outside a residence in the West End neighborhood of Birmingham, where he had been reportedly hanging out with friends prior to the incident.
