In the winter of 1964, a wave of shock and sorrow washed over a Detroit neighborhood as the tragic story of the Burgan family unfolded. On December 3rd, three-year-old Cathy S. Burgan, a young girl, became an innocent victim in a horrific act of violence that claimed the lives of her entire family. The devastating events transpired within the walls of their home, a place they had settled into less than half a year prior.
