Jennifer Timathy-Ann Fettig, a 26-year-old police officer with the Detroit Police Department, tragically lost her life on February 16, 2004, while on duty. Officer Fettig and her partner, Officer Matthew Bowens, were conducting a routine traffic stop on Gilbert Avenue around 2:00 AM when the incident occurred.
