Aaliayah Thomas, a 13-year-old girl from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on December 1, 2015, in a shooting incident on Detroit's east side. The incident occurred when two gunmen opened fire on a car in which Aaliayah was a passenger. The car, a black Dodge Charger, was parked near a party store at the intersection of Hayes and Troester streets. Along with Aaliayah, 21-year-old Stevan Henderson was also killed in the attack.
