Kim Landrum Mabins, aged 45, tragically lost her life on May 21, 2015, in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred in a shocking and heartbreaking manner. On the evening of May 21, Kim and her husband, Greg Mabins, had just seen their 17-year-old son off to his high school prom. Shortly after, Greg Mabins, aged 58, shot Kim in the back, resulting in her death. Following this, Greg called Kim's mother to confess his actions before turning the gun on himself in a murder-suicide.
