Ja’Miyah Lawrence, a 16-year-old girl from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on August 28, 2022, during a random shooting spree on Detroit's north side. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. near Margareta and Wyoming. Ja’Miyah was identified as the final victim in a series of shootings that left three people dead and another wounded^1^.
