On October 22, 2023, at approximately 1 p.m., Huntsville Police Department (HPD) officers responded to a shooting incident in the parking lot at 1024 North Memorial Parkway. Upon arrival, they discovered 52-year-old Joel Adam Broussard lying unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
