On December 30, 1978, a tragic and horrific event unfolded in the Spangler home in Littleton, Colorado. David A. Spangler, the 17-year-old son of Robert and Nancy Spangler, was one of the three victims found dead that morning. The bodies of David, his 15-year-old sister Susan, and their 45-year-old mother Nancy were discovered in their home on Franklin Way.
