In the fall of 2019, a Littleton, Colorado man named Rene Perez, 56, was the victim of a fatal shooting that appeared to be a random act of violence. On the evening of October 15th, police responded to an apartment complex in the 200 block of South Teller Street where they discovered Perez in the parking lot with an apparent gunshot wound.
