On April 20, 1999, Steven Robert “Steve” Curnow, a 14-year-old student at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, lost his life in one of the most infamous school shootings in U.S. history. The tragedy unfolded when two heavily armed students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, launched a coordinated attack on their school.
