In the late afternoon of October 30, 2017, a dispute in a parking lot in Centennial, Colorado, tragically escalated, ending the life of 30-year-old Adolf Arellano. Arellano, a male, was with his girlfriend at an apartment complex in the 300 block of East Highline Circle to collect money from a woman. An argument ensued, and as Arellano and his girlfriend were leaving in their vehicle, the woman followed them and shot Arellano in the stomach.
