Sixteen-year-old Jayden Maclin, a male who was Black / African American, was shot and killed on the evening of September 20, 2025, inside a home on TeeJay Drive in Huntsville, Alabama. Officers with the Huntsville Police Department responded around 7:00–7:30 p.m. to reports of a shooting in progress and found 16-year-old Jayden Maclin suffering from a gunshot wound; lifesaving efforts failed and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
