Tavion Willie, a 25-year-old man from Huntsville, Alabama, tragically lost his life on December 28, 2016. Willie was fatally shot in the early hours of that morning near the intersection of Triana Boulevard and 9th Avenue, a location known for occasional violence. Authorities were alerted to the scene after a report of a gunshot wound. When they arrived, they discovered Willie suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
