On January 26, 2018, 19-year-old William Shamar Walker was fatally shot in Huntsville, Alabama. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the Lake Shore Crossing Apartments on Rime Village Drive, where shots were fired into a large crowd gathered in a parking lot. Walker sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
