In the winter of 2000, in Huntsville, Alabama, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Cedric Lamont Crutcher, a 17-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on Sunday, January 16th. The devastating event unfolded in the parking lot of the Northwest Church of Christ, a place of worship and community, as Cedric was leaving the services with his family.
