On October 28, 2012, 20-year-old Corey Murray was fatally shot outside a residence on Beaconcrest Circle in Harvest, Alabama, a community near Huntsville. Murray was in the front yard making a phone call when he was approached and shot. He was transported to Huntsville Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
