Devonte Marnez "Vonte" Vance, a 26-year-old man from Huntsville, Alabama, was killed in a shooting during the early morning hours of July 19, 2026. Online sources do not provide reliable information identifying his race or ethnicity. Huntsville police said officers were called just before 1 a.m. to a business in the 600 block of Blake Bottom Road after a shooting was reported.
