On April 17, 2023, 22-year-old Brandon Lamar Urquhart was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 2:15 a.m., officers from the East Precinct responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 600 block of Earline Circle. Upon arrival, they discovered Urquhart inside an apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
