On January 29, 2023, shortly after midnight, Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of Nekoma Drive. Upon arrival, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound; he was transported to UAB Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
