Death by Force

On November 7, 2023, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a report of a person shot at the Parkway Inn Motel, located in the 9200 block of Parkway East in the Roebuck area. Upon arrival, they discovered 59-year-old Marcus Hill of Brookside, Alabama, lying unresponsive on a third-floor balcony, suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
