On January 2, 2023, at approximately 9:46 p.m., Birmingham police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert indicating multiple gunshots in the 100 block of 59th Street North. Upon arrival, they discovered two adult males inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
