On December 5, 2022, at approximately 3:22 p.m., a shooting occurred in the 700 block of Springville Road near Huffman High School in Birmingham, Alabama. Three adult males were injured in the incident and transported to UAB Hospital. Among them was 22-year-old Timothy Wayne Worsham III, a resident of Midfield, who succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
