On a Saturday night, September 21, 2024, Tahj Da'Jour Booker, a 27-year-old male, was out in Birmingham, Alabama, celebrating his high school alumni week with his cousin. Described by his aunt as a 'teddy bear,' he was standing in a crowd waiting to get into a nightclub in the city's lively Five Points South entertainment district.
