On January 1, 2021, Carl Joseph Miserendino III, a 35-year-old financial advisor, was found dead on the side of a house in the 4000 block of 40th Avenue North in the Inglenook area of Birmingham, Alabama. The body was discovered at approximately 9:05 p.m. when Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a report of a person down at that location.
