On June 30, 2008, Ari Weston, aged 19, was killed in a shooting in Philadelphia. At approximately 11:20 p.m., Philadelphia police responded to a call on the 300 block of East Olney Avenue, where they found Weston suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Einstein Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
