In the late hours of a Tuesday in Philadelphia, the life of 18-year-old Kylif Woods was tragically cut short. On June 7, 2011, the young man became a victim of the city's ongoing gun violence. Woods, an African-American male, was in the East Germantown neighborhood when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. on the 6100 block of Belfield Avenue.
