On the night of September 9, 2024, at approximately 11:53 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of gunfire on the 1900 block of West Sedgley Avenue. Upon arrival, they found 17-year-old Yacere Bush receiving medical attention for multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Temple University Hospital.
