On a Thursday morning in mid-December 2025, violence erupted near the intersection of Ensley Avenue and Pike Road in Birmingham, Alabama, claiming the life of 22-year-old Levi Wells. The incident began as a shooting into an occupied vehicle, leaving Wells critically injured. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital for urgent medical care, but despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on December 18, 2025.
