On April 17, 2021, 19-year-old Gabriel Isaac Brown was fatally shot in Fort Payne, Alabama. The incident occurred just before 9 p.m., and Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
