On January 2, 2022, 44-year-old Randell Jerome Meyers was fatally shot in Fort Payne, Alabama. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Gault Avenue North, where police responded to reports of an altercation involving gunfire. Upon arrival, officers and medics found Meyers deceased at the scene.
