In the summer of 2022, a grim discovery was made in Birmingham, Alabama, that marked the beginning of a puzzling homicide investigation. On July 8th, the Birmingham Police Department received a report of a vehicle fire at the Fraternal Cemetery located on Sheridan Road. When officers arrived at the scene, they were met with a disturbing sight: a completely charred sedan. Inside the burned-out vehicle, in the passenger seat, were skeletal remains.
