On March 1, 2022, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Powderly Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 26-year-old KeAyron Hill lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
