On November 27, 2021, 27-year-old Tevin Jermell Carlson Jones was fatally shot in Fairfield, Alabama. The incident occurred around 7:25 p.m. in the 600 block of 55th Place. Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting and found Jones suffering from a single gunshot wound.
