In the early evening of November 3, 2023, tragedy struck in Fairfield, Alabama, when 27-year-old Deandre Lamar Hayes was found suffering from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Jerry D. Coleman Road. Despite the efforts of first responders, Hayes succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a male known to be goofy, silly, and funny, according to those who knew him.
