On October 29, 2022, Ray B. Dover Jr., a 60-year-old man from Fairfield, Alabama, was riding his bicycle along Grasselli Road when violence that had begun miles away reached him without warning. Investigators said a vehicle came up on him in the 6700 block of Grasselli Road, struck him, and kept going, leaving him fatally injured at the scene.
