On February 27, 2021, Bishop Jones, a 23-year-old resident of Hueytown, Alabama, tragically lost his life in a vehicular accident on Interstate 59 near mile marker 118, in the vicinity of Fairfield. The incident occurred around 12:45 p.m. when two southbound vehicles sideswiped each other, leading to a loss of control.
