In a quiet home on 60th Street in Fairfield, Alabama, the life of 65-year-old Lu Jones came to a tragic end. On the evening of July 3, 2023, Jones, a male, was found deceased inside his residence, having been fatally shot. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later confirmed his identity as Luman Jones II and ruled his death a homicide.
