In the early evening of January 15, 2026, the life of 38-year-old Jawaun Scruggs, a male resident of Augusta, Georgia, was tragically cut short. Responding to a call, deputies from the Richmond County Sheriff's Office discovered Scruggs in the 600 block of East Boundary, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
