Derian Lemont Watson, a 20-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on June 29, 2022, following a violent incident on the city's northwest side. The events unfolded around 6 p.m. when Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to reports of a shooting and a subsequent crash on Guion Road near West 38th Street.
