In the late hours of a Thursday in Indianapolis, the life of Bryant Keith Pinner, a 29-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short by gunfire. On August 24, 2023, what began as an ordinary evening ended in a double homicide that spanned two locations on the city's east side, leaving investigators to piece together a violent puzzle.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was first called to the 1200 block of North Ridgeview Drive around 10:30 p.m.
There, they discovered Pinner inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
