On April 2, 2023, 22-year-old Demond M. Lee Jr. was found fatally shot in a first-floor apartment at 3054 Marcus Avenue in north St. Louis. Police responded to the scene around 11:40 p.m., discovering Lee deceased from gunshot wounds.
