In the early morning hours of September 19, 2024, a sense of normalcy was shattered in the Kingsway East neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Marshun White, a 42-year-old male, was enjoying a late summer night with his friend, 34-year-old Marcus Price, outside their apartment building on North Kingshighway Boulevard.
