In the winter of 2013 in Indianapolis, a young man's life was cut short by violence. Michael D. Boyd, a 23-year-old, was fatally shot on the evening of Friday, December 13th. The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. near the intersection of East 46th Street and North Arlington Avenue on the city's northeast side. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they discovered Michael lying in a yard, having sustained at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
