Rasheem Scriven, a 20-month-old African American boy, tragically lost his life on April 29, 2015, in Augusta, Georgia. The incident occurred at 1239 Holden Drive, where police responded to a call and found Rasheem dead from a gunshot wound. The circumstances surrounding his death were initially believed to be accidental. According to reports, a 15-year-old boy, who was playing with a gun, unintentionally discharged it, hitting Rasheem in the head and killing him instantly.
