On May 13, 2023, a deadly shooting occurred on Sand Bar Ferry Road at East Boundary in East Augusta, Georgia, involving a conflict between two rival motorcycle gangs, the Outcast Motorcycle Club and the Thug Riders from Florida. During this incident, Germayne Farrell, a 51-year-old man from Daytona Beach, Florida, was fatally shot.
