Joaquin Ruiz-Figueroa, a 47-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically murdered on May 1, 2018, in Augusta, Georgia. The incident occurred following an altercation with his roommates, Maurice Jenkins and Keith Andrew Kearney. The conflict escalated violently, resulting in both Jenkins and Kearney savagely beating Ruiz-Figueroa with their fists, a baseball bat, and a large automotive tool.
