In the early evening of April 26, 2023, a violent encounter in Augusta, Georgia, claimed the life of 24-year-old Usaini Mohammed Yunusa Jr., a Black / African American male from Austell, Georgia. The incident unfolded around 6 p.m. outside The Estates at Perimeter on St. Andrews Drive. Yunusa was a passenger in a vehicle when individuals in another car opened fire into his vehicle.
